On the Grounds: Major site work continues. The construction team has nearly completed mass grading, and the first concrete footings were poured on July 15—an exciting milestone. Crews are now forming and pouring foundations for the new City Hall addition. Underground utility work along 130th Street is expected to wrap up mid-July, and fiber lines have been successfully rerouted with no service disruption.
At City Hall: Temporary workspaces and meeting rooms remain in full use to support staff and ensure city services continue without interruption. Interior renovations will pause until September, when crews begin demolition of unoccupied areas to connect the new addition to City Hall.
Coming Soon: The first phase of exterior building demolition is scheduled to begin July 21, starting with the removal of brick and windows on the southeast wall of City Hall.
