Community Invited to View Public Safety Memorial Service

The City of Burnsville has been moved by the outpouring of support for Police Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth, their families and our public safety teams. The City invites community members to come together on the day of the public safety memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The public is encouraged to watch the livestream at Burnsville’s Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or at home, and to find a spot along the procession route to show their support and honor the fallen. More details on the procession route are available here: https://ow.ly/loAw50QHuRH.

Viewing options

  • Watch the livestream with the community at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville. Church doors open at 9:30 a.m.
  • Watch the livestream on YouTube at @mngracechurch
  • Livestream and audio options will also be available at Grace.live

Officials are expecting thousands of attendees at the public safety memorial service at Grace Church for the fallen heroes. At the family’s wishes, family and public safety personnel will be seated first.

Funeral Service Overflow Parking and Shuttle Bus
