Updated Donation Information

The outpouring of support from the Burnsville community and mourners has been a beacon of light in this time of loss. We want to reiterate that the only contribution site that has been verified through the families of Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth, Officer Matthew Ruge, and Officer Paul Elmstrand is through Law Enforcement Labor Services. All donations through this site will be delivered directly to these three families. If you’d like to make a financial donation, we encourage you to utilize this site. Please be aware of scam fundraisers looking to exploit this tragedy.

If a financial donation isn’t an option for you, please consider the following options:

  • Signs of Support: Burnsville City Hall is home to a temporary memorial for all three men
  • Prayers: connect with your church community or prayer group
  • Attend a vigil or event: please see the Calendar of Community Gatherings on the Updates page
  • Non-monetary Donations: non-perishable food or gently used clothing is accepted at the Mission Outpost donation center. Please note: donated items benefit the entire Burnsville community.
  • Volunteer: offer your time and talents to help others in the community. Check our Volunteer page for options.
  • Watch the Memorial Service: we encourage you to watch the live feed of the joint memorial service on Wednesday, February 28 at 11 a.m. A live feed link will be posted when available.
