Appliance, Furniture, Electronics Removal Application for Burnsville Residents 65+

  1. Senior Grant for Removal of Appliances, Furniture and/or Electronics
  2. Residents age 65 years and older may apply for a grant of up to $300 per household for the removal of appliances, furniture and/or electronics, subject to availability of funds. Households may qualify every five years. Items may either be picked up curbside or removed from the home.
  3. By checking this box, I confirm that I am age 65 years or older and a current Burnsville resident.*
  4. By clicking this box, I give permission for the City of Burnsville to share my information with 1-800-GOT-JUNK, the contracted vendor for this program, for assistance with my request for appliance, furniture or electronics removal.*
  5. The City also holds an appliance/electronic drop off at the Maintenance Facility each fall. Call 952-895-4559 for more information.
  6. The City of Burnsville will review your application and contact you to let you know whether or not your request has been approved and what items are approved for removal. The vendor will remove only those approved items and the City will pay the contractor directly. The City will not pay for any items that are not preapproved or any items that were removed before approval. You will not incur any out of pocket expenses.
