[ARCHIVED] Storm Damage Cleanup Update

Damaged tree on road. Text: Storm Damage Update

A portion of our Burnsville community was hit harder than others by the storms this past weekend. To help those residents with clean up, we have temporarily opened the Burnsville compost site to accept fallen tree branches.

Burnsville Compost Site (located off of 21st Street behind Dodge of Burnsville) is open for individual and private residential tree and branch drop off.

  • Burnsville residents only
  • The site is open today (Tuesday, Aug. 30) through Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
  • Drop off is free
  • Only trees, branches and vegetation will be accepted
  • Contractor drop-offs will not be allowed
  • Please do not leave any bags or trash at the compost site -- branches and sticks should be unbagged
