[ARCHIVED] Celebrate Juneteeth

  1. Juneteenth, also know as Freedom Day, is a festival held annually on the nineteenth of June to commemorate emancipation from slavery on that day in 1865. There will be guest speakers of books and poetry, entertainment by Tropics Steel Drum Band and food available for purchase from Jersey Mike's.
  2. What:       Juneteenth - Freedom Day Celebration
  3. Who:         Adults, Kids and Families
  4. When:       Saturday, June 19 | 1 - 3:30 p.m.
  5. Where:      North River Hills Park
  6. Cost:          FREE!
  7. Partners in this event include Dakota County Library, Spirit of Truth Church and the YMCA.
