[ARCHIVED] Voter Options and Information

Voter Information for the General Election

Recent change to absentee voting: On Oct. 29, the 8th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals determined that absentee ballots must be received by Election Day (Nov. 3) in order to be counted. This is a change from previous communications. Absentee ballots will be accepted at Burnsville City Hall until 3 p.m. on Election Day. There is a convenient drop box in front of City Hall for your convenience. If you still have an absentee ballot at your home, you will need to return it in person in order to ensure it arrives on time. Mailed ballots arriving after Nov. 3 will not be counted.
