A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. by the Burnsville Planning Commission on the application of Burnsville Sanitary Landfill Inc. (BSLI), for a Concept Stage Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment to increase disposal capacity of their Burnsville landfill.
The proposal is to increase disposal capacity of the landfill adding up to 26 million cubic yards of municipal solid waste and raise the elevation of the landfill to a height of 1,082 feet above mean seal level (362 feet above grade or about 260 feet above the currently permitted future landfill height) located at 2650 Cliff Road West.
