Buckthorn
What is Buckthorn & Why is it a Problem?
Buckthorn is an invasive shrub spread by birds that eat its berries. It quickly outcompetes native plants for resources, turning healthy forests into shrubby thickets with bare, erosion-prone soil underneath. With no natural predators, buckthorn infests most shady, unmanaged areas.
Take action against invasive buckthorn - rent a weed wrench from our Public Works team and remove it from your property.
