Any business that cuts, trims, prunes, removes, sprays or otherwise treats trees or shrubs

Apply Online for a City Tree Contractor License 

Renewal 

Renew by Dec. 31 annually

Additional Requirements

• View application for additional details
• At least one person on staff with certification from the International Society of Arboriculture
• Proof of a liability insurance policy; view sample
• Workers Compensation Insurance
• If applicant intends to use pesticides, the applicant must provide proof that the applicant or an employee of the applicant is licensed as a Certified Pesticide Applicator by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture
• License or vehicle decal must be displayed at all times
• Peddlers, solicitors or transient merchants must register with the police department
