Step Four: Further Enforcement Action: If the violation is not corrected after the first notice followed by the administrative citation, next steps could include any combination of additional administrative citations and criminal citations, resulting in a mandatory court appearance.

1. Step One: Violation Identified: Violation is noted during an inspection or by verifying a public complaint.

2. Step Two: First Notice: Property owner is sent a Notice of Violation letter and generally will have up to 10 days to correct the violation(s).

3. Step Three: Administrative Citation: If the violation is not corrected after the first notice, the property owner must pay a fine and may have up to seven (7) additional days to correct the violation(s).

4. Step Four: Further Enforcement Action: If the violation is not corrected after the first notice followed by the administrative citation, next steps could include any combination of additional administrative citations and criminal citations, resulting in a mandatory court appearance.
