Burnsville City Hall has multiple rooms available for public rental. All of the rooms allow for renters to bring their own computer or tablet and use built-in projectors/screens to display presentations, slideshows and other documents. Microphones and speakers are available upon request.
The Council Chambers is located in the upper level of City Hall and is approximately 1,400 square feet. The room features state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and camera systems for recording are available for an additional fee. It is typically reserved for formal business meetings, lectures, teleconferences and weddings.
The Dakota and Nicollet Rooms (sometimes collectively known as "the community rooms") are located in the lower level of City Hall. These rooms can be combined into one large room that's approximately 3,800 square feet or be divided into smaller rooms. These rooms are typically used for larger events such as art/craft shows, banquets, dance recitals, lectures, meetings, receptions and weddings.
