The City of Burnsville offers men’s and co-rec broomball leagues for players 18+. These leagues are now self-officiated, due to the shortage of broomball officials

2023 Broomball Registration

Registration Opens: Monday, Nov. 14, 2022
Registration Deadline: Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 or until all spots are filled

Men’s Leagues 

This double-header league is played outdoors on Monday nights. This league is self-officiated, due to the shortage of broomball officials

When: Mondays: January 9 - February 13
Cost:   $215/team

Game Play: 

  • Game start times are a mix of 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m. AND 8:15 p.m.
  • Teams may carry up to 16 players on their roster
  • Each team is responsible for providing one game quality ball
  • Teams are required to have two sets of jerseys or pinneys (light and dark)
  • Non-duplicate numbers on jerseys are strongly recommended
  • Additional equipment is required. See rules for details
  • Prizes will be awarded to the league champion based on league registrations

Co-Rec Leagues 

This single-game league is played outdoors on Friday nights (weather permitting). This league is self-officiated, due to the shortage of broomball officials

When:  Fridays: January 6 - February 10
Cost:    
$160/team

  • Start times alternate between 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
