The City is restoring a large section of Terrace Oaks Park. The project will remove invasive plant species, restore the native plant community, improve wildlife habitat and improve the health of existing oak trees. Several sections of trails will be closed for three weeks during the project. Learn more and view the trail closure map on our Natural Resources page.
Details
Terrace Oaks West is a 230-acre, community park located on the east side of County Road 11, 1/4 mile south of Burnsville Parkway.
In the summer months the park provides mountain biking trails (accessible through Terrace Oaks East Park), while in the winter months the park transforms into a cross-country ski haven!

Mountain Bike Trails
Weather permitting, the mountain bike trails are open April 1 through Oct. 31.
Winter Ski Chalet
Weather permitting, Terrace Oaks Ski Chalet is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December through February.
